Website maintenance Policy |
- We will maintain a current local backup copy of your website.
- “Maintenance” includes activities required to keep your site error free and up to date. It is NOT a site redesign.
- We reserve the right to distinguish between the term “update” and “new design”. New design work will be charged at our design rate.
- Updates should be provided electronically (by email) as much as possible. Updates may also be sent by postal mail. These require retyping data or scanning photos and will cost more to complete the changes.
- Time is based on actual total time involved in completing the updates.
- It is the client’s responsibility to review updates and notify us of any necessary changes that need to be made. We do not charge for changes that are our fault. However, if a change needs to be made due to client error, the time required for these changes will be charged to your maintenance plan.
- We do not take responsibility of the third-party components that your site might be using. If these third party components require updates those will be charged to your maintenance plan.
Website Maintenance Service DOES NOT include:
- Redesign of a entire website or individual pages.
- Restructuring of a website’s entire navigation system.
- Creating new logos or branding images
- Troubleshooting pre-existing code
- Interactive components or functionality additions
